Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American artist, actress and singer is popular for her work as leader and frontwoman of The Pretty Reckless, a rock group. The singer is actor as well as a singer and songwriter. She was a part of the entertainment business at the age of two. Her life was described as a rollercoaster, that was punctuated by commitments to work as early as she was. Her family was raised under her Roman Catholic religion, but says she's no longer religious. Her family tree goes back to ethnic Germans that were part of the "then" Russian empire. When she began her professional career as a performing as a child, she moved out into modelling and music. Her appearance as `Jenny Humphrey on the cult "Gossip Girls" series made her a household name as well as the acclaimed debut album by her group - 'Light Me Up'--gained her fame in the world of music. She claims to be multifaceted, but her true passion is music. Because of this, she has stopped taking in acting gigs and instead focuses all her energy to her professional career.
